I then asked him if he was threatening me. He stated, "No, *I'm just saying don't speed".
I told him "I never speed". Pure , unadulterated intimidation with sexist and racial undertones. Witnessed in this department.
While leaving this officer, he told me "Don't Speed".
I told him he had no right to dissuade a citizen from exercising their right to complain, and file complaints. He stated that was his opinion. I then stated He should keep his personal opinion to himself, and Not to use his position or personal opinion to discourage citizen complaints.
Just told by Bailey Police officer, 9-2-17, after requesting to speak with Chief about concern and a complaint about prior occurrence, of this officer'S personal opinion: 1) That I should keep my complaint inside Bailey, and 2) use the " kindergarten approach" chain of command; 3) that I can't take my BFD complaint any further,and 4) No-one could do anything to help me anyhow with my complaint about BPD or BFD. .
I will notify my neighbors and friends, provide information, and continue to address any concern connected to me and my family, with my community, using all available resources to resolve same. Whether they be local, federal or state laws that govern enforcement.+
I then asked this Bailey Police Officer if he was targeting me. He stated I just said "Don't speed".
